Dwarven Burials
Proper burials are extremely important in dwarf tradition. Their folklore is full of ghost stories of people who weren't buried properly and have returned to haunt the living.
Traditionally the first body buried in a dwarven cemetery is either a dog or cat. It is believed that the ghost of the animal will serve as a protector to the cemetery - known as a grim - and will fight against forces which wish to ruin the slumber of the dwarves.
