Ignisseus

Ignissieus is one half of the deity known as Chaarkus, who was a god from before the creation of Wulsten. When Mother Aea brought the remains of the mortal realm to their new place and created Wulsten, she asked Chaarkus to create a new sun for the newborn world. Chaarkus obliged, seeing as only his divine flame could ignite something of the magnitude of a sun, but even his fire could not fully ignite it. By the time he had finished igniting all of the sun, the first half would have died out, so he split himself in two, so that he might be on both sides at once. All of Chaarkus's malice and spiteful urges were shunted into the half that would be called Ignisseus, and he became a concentrated entity of anger and cruelty. Worshippers of the draconic gods say that, when the sun sets, the sky turns red with the blood spilled by Ignisseus. Ignisseus slumbers in the depths of Roldkorfell, in the bottom of the deepest pit below a pool of molten crystal known as Thanassia.

Holy Books & Codes

The Iron Mandate is the highest text of Ignisseus, and it exists to dictate Ignisseus's will for his worshippers. It states that in order to venerate the greatness of Ignisseus, his followers must strive for their own greatness, for only through glory will their supplication garner his attention. It also uncharacteristically does not condemn Thermicles, rather proclaiming his greatness as well, stating that the followers of Ignisseus must recognize the glory of Thermicles and his followers, likely because Thermicles is the other half of Chaarkus, so Ignisseus's ego extends to Thermicles

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The symbol of Ignisseus is identical in shape to that of Thermicles, as a dragon with wings spread wide. It is usually made from iron, but regardless the metal, it is always stained with soot and blackened by flames.
