Esbomhat

A massive desert that sits between the regions of Teros and Sinendos. Despite the scorching sun beaming down on the region for the majority of the year, different environments cater to many types of creatures. Dune deserts to the north, where the winds blow sand and cascade down the cliffs into the canyons to the south. The massive river known as Sobe'kai River brings the upper region vegetation and shade and then flows down to Ogrim'tar Canyon, causing the river to become fierce and unforgiving to those caught in it's currents. There are two cities in this region, the capital, Kisai and a port city to the south west coast, Uzgrodh.  

Politics

Esbomhat is a monarchial region ruled by a pharaoh. Their word is law and they rule all. Although, there are branches but in the end, they report to the pharaoh of their progress and deeds done in the region;  

The Jewel Coven

A coven of people who have the ability to cast and perform magical feats. They are in charge of managing the flow of magic coming into Esbomhat from the Sobe’kai River. They harvest the magical essence and store it. Their base of operations is the Enserk's Shield, a giant dam that controls the flow of the river into the region.

Enforcers of Law

A force that judges, arrests and resolves conflicts in Esbomhat, treating criminals and making sure the civilians are following the Pharaoh’s Law. They are the ones that have the power to exile those to live of their lives in the ruined lands of Teros.

Kisai'ra Royal Guard

A force of warriors ready to give their life to protect the pharaoh and Esbomhat, they are the strongest, fiercest warriors, although low in numbers, they make up for it in sheer strength. They are mostly stationed in random towns and Kisai. Their armor, a mossy gold-plated armor with a greenish tint to it. They have snakes designs on their bracers and fangs on their breastplate.

Union of Agriculture

A union of farmers in Esbomhat. They are the ones working the fields, harvesting fruits, providing food for themselves and Esbomhat. They live throughout the Kisain Wilds, a palm tree forest the blankets the northern part of the region.

Explorer's League

A group of explorers, treasure hunters and knowledge seekers set out to discover hidden secrets of Esbomhat and the perilous Teros. There are many secrets buried beneath the dunes of the Ta'serha Desert, deep in the caves of Ogrim'tar Canyon and deep within the ruined and perilous land of Teros.

Enclave of the Gods

A gathering of the faithful, those spending their lives to worship the gods of Esbomhat, in hopes that one day, they will return again and lead them. Temples are scattered around Kisai, each one devoted in worshipping a specific god. The towns and villages of Esbomhat might contain a single temple or various altars devoted to multiple gods of Esbomhat.  

Population

Esbomhat has a variety of different races scattered throughout the desert. These races are normally be suited to adapt to the scorching environment.

Culture and Religion

The people of Esbomhat revel in the concept of The Ebb and Flow, where the journey of life mirrors that of a river, calm and serene but can be deadly and intense as the rapids. A lot of their festivals and events include the theme of the journey of life, the main one being The Scarab's Haul, an event that leads to the summer solstice. Other events involve the cycle of life, where the river starts to where it ends, known as the Festival of Feathers. The people of the land value adaptability, will and rebirth.   Like many of the other regions, the people of Esbomhat are polytheist, for they worship a multitude of gods.

Crafts and Trade

Esbomhat is well known for their fruits and their alchemical ability to create potions. Due to the mystical energies coming from the Sobe'kai River, the land in the Kisain Wilds has been magically influenced, bearing fruits that can only survive in the region. With this amount of fruits growing, they managed to develop multiple kinds of potions, ranging from potions that can heal the consumer, give benefits or detriments, and even causes explosions. The Verdant Merchant Co. are an extremely common company to visit Esbomhat to buy and restock on potions as they are used in all of Vantrilis.
