The Notorious Session 15: Veth is not a Club!

General Summary

Morning of Martius the 15th to Martius the 16th
The party woke up with no harm over the nights rest. Allan being a great friend was able to cure the poison from Wincen Gamble  and Veth Aeceris while they were sleeping.  The next morning the party continued to head out to Sa'il Ve'anon. As they traveled they found some more herbs to assist with making elixirs and other alchemical creations. They had a wonderful quick lunch and headed out again.  That evening the party watched as a great storm started to develop over the Del'Rae Desert.  This storm was so large it was able to be seen from all over the Continent of Renstrom. During the night the storm grew even larger until it manifested into a massive lighting strike that turn the darkness into daylight. This startled almost every creature in the area.  The party now awake sets off to continue their journey.  The party travels some time down the road.  Sullivan Leopetor Galanodel and Solstice Cyra gathered more herbs with the assistance of Vera'lyth Aeceris. While Wincen Gamble was driving the cart it hit a hard rut in the ground and the force of the bump damaged the axel and wheel of the cart. While the party stopped to make repairs Veth Aeceris didn't show up.  Concerned Vera'lyth Aeceris set off with Wincen Gamble to find her.  Both of them hear calls for help and they take off and out side of a cave entrance is an Ogre holding Veth Aeceris as a club. They both try to shoot the Ogre and call for help.  Solstice Cyra takes off running along with Sullivan Leopetor Galanodel.  Allan jumps onto the horse and travels with great haste to help. Solstice Cyra not wanting to miss the fight grabs onto the horse as Allan passes. The Ogre uses Veth Aeceris as a club and hits many of the party members with her. Solstice absolutely pissed by this action of using a friend as a club. She uses the built up rage to make the killing blow on the Ogre.  The party takes the beaten body of Veth Aeceris back to the cart.  While the cart is getting fixed by Allan the rest were able to take a short rest. The party was able to have a nice lunch and helped Veth Aeceris and her badly broken state.  Sullivan Leopetor Galanodel used detect magic on the loot they found in the ogre's cave. Upon doing so noticed that the parties weapons have a strange arcane glow to them that they never had before. A school of magic out of the known 8. We leave the party on Mid Day of Martius the 16th and the continued travels to Sa'il Ve'anon.

Rewards Granted

The party was able to find 3 Nightshade Berries & 6 Quicksilver Lichen, 3 Arrow Root, 4 Emetic Wax  and 1 Elemental Water while gathering herbs while traveling. They also got the arms of an Ogre. They got various coins of Electrum that have a N on one side and a Egyptian Style headdress on the other. They also got a Bow String of Polymorph and a crushed quiver that once had the efficient quiver enchantment. The party also received a Javelin of Lighting recipe scroll.  Solstice Cyra found a pouch outside of the cave on her way back to the cart.
