The Antiquities Session 21: Why the Tykes? The burial and decent!

General Summary

The party slowly came to the realization of what happened to all the yeti. They learned that Arnold slaughtered all the young yeti even those that where restrained. While investiagtions occured of what happend Heidi and Luther ended up devouring in and investigating a lot of the ancient artifacts and gold and everything that was left behind by an ancient giant speaking race. Nak advised Arnold once he is done with the burial ritual he would have a discussion with him. While that was going on Leront wouldn't let Arnold out of his sight. Also the party noticed a few things in the ritual. They noticed Firblog and Dwaves tending to griffins.
Nak underwent the special ritual and during this time he begged and pleaded with the spirits of the Yetis to speak with him. The ritual was so well done that Nak pulled his fellow party members into the ritual. Leront noticed the true form of Telu. Leront was very interested in this but never got a chance to truly investigate Telu's true form as he wasn't close enough.
While able to see the spirt of the yeti alpha. Nak learned the tale of how the yeti were the result of a curse and why they are isolated in this cave. He also learned that the yeti alpha can't pass on from this location until the curse is lifted. The alpha also stated this location was once a griffon outpost for the Cobalt Rangers and their aerial force. The griffins lived in this peak for centuries until the curse. The spirit that remained to talk to Nak and described in the vision that the epicenter of the curse is a hag from the Pavian Mountains. Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave and Heidi were able to find out that an ancient race of Firblog lived within this mountain range and assisted with the griffin upkeep with the Cobalt Rangers. Also the information was on the script that Heidi found.
After all the burial of the yetis and Nak had a discussion with Arnold about what has occurred. Once settled, the party decided to continue their trek. They had to unblock the cave-in that the alpha yeti cause. Once they finished, they continued on the mine cart tracks. Suddenly the party was descending quickly down a winding path. This descent went faster and faster until it came to a solid wall.
