The Antiquities Session 12: Zendor what do you have to eat?

General Summary

Burning cactus in the morning. Tinika receives many shinies (Huzzah!). Zendor is noticed by the party (manners disregarded). Nak introduction card for Arnold and crash course of languages for time-traveler man (Orcish, Common, and Grung alphabet). Sir Parendor’s jazz hands, his opinion of the group, and unlocking Mispira’s manacles. Heidi appreciation hour, what Mispira’s horns actually look like, under the horn bumpers and piercings, Sir Parendor confirms that Arnold is telling the truth about his origins. Zendor asks about Arnold, Arnold refers to “the capital” as “Arpyneaketh”. Let’s go to Zendor’s place! (Arnold gives Teleport scroll a bad review.), Leront asks shadow boi if he wants to drop the dragon body. Zendor promises to fly with Mispira some other time. Arnold remembers Zendor’s place as one of the temples that Beverly used to go to. Leront and Mispira converse. Nak talks to Grumsh, talks about the relic. Leront is afraid of Mispira and disappears into shadow, spiritual lights be blinding for Nak. Tinika wanders off. Arnold hears Zendor refer to himself as a dragon while Zendor is talking to Nak about a spell scroll, apparently, Sir Parendor could help (Gerdran, you are needed in the front lobby for assistance.). Arnold, Nak, Zendor, and Gerdran discuss the relic and Arnold’s problem, Gerdran casts Sending to King Chaim (ding dong, you have one new message.), Zendor mentions Metallic Counsel and their memory loss. Mispira identifies the hammer while possessed. Zendor speaks of settling differences with Viken. Discussion of religion. Arnold vaguely knows of Grumsh, but not sure if he is good/bad/neutral, he does know of the female counterpart to Grumsh, though. Mispira wanders off, Arnold follows. Tinika: “Grunch Grump”. Zendor sees Mispira about to fly off, they go to talk privately. Nak goes to the “library”, smacky stuck dig into sandstone. Kitchen crew: Heidi, Luther, and Sir Parendor. Sir Parendor makes snacks, storytime with kobolds.
Heidi dungeon dives the pantry, finds treasures in the form of Zendor’s secret foodie stash. Heidi threatens Luther with a pay cut if he takes the good stuff. Library crew: Arnold, Emmet, Leront, and Tinika. Shadow boi noticed by Tinika. Tinika tinkers on Emmet (head fall off, it do be like that sometimes.), Arnold experiences a memory from his past concerning Beverly, powerful wizards, and a god with the letter "M", he is overcome with emotion and breaks down in tears. Leront finds the book he found before. "the manipulation of shadow stuff". the book makes shadow boi go away. Tinika gets Emmet to talk. Arnold's sadness noticed. Leront and Tinika attempt to comfort him. Leront gets hugged by Arnold. Book and gem identified by Tinika. Arnold learns about Arpin. Library crew realizes that Nak wasn't there. Mispira has a chat with Zendor. (spell, hugs and drugs). Meanwhile with Nak: Nak cast light on coins, and threw them down into the pit. Found staircase, found a corridor, lots of bones. Nope, followed the staircase kept going down. Found corridor, spirits warn him of danger, they gave final warning. Nak didn’t step into room, was in the spirit world, light coin, it woke up big glowing eye. Ping pong out of the room, it shot breath weapon up out of the hole. Zendor and Mispira come after him, “RUN!” Loads of bad things happened down there. Nak woke up something very big and very scary.
