The Antiquities Session 11: Out of the Lightning Comes!

General Summary

Night of Martius the 15th to Morning of Martius the 16th
After it was decided that the dragon would be harvested elsewhere: Nak started flitting between Planes and Mispira received guidance from extended family. Kalukigone was healed to some degree and the party was given more insight into his intentions and relationship with Mispira. Shadow omnom makes Leront move slow (that's what happens when you eat too much turkey!) Zendor agreed to bring the wounded goliath to safety, with the goliath being none the wiser of the fact that he was in the hands of the dragon who dealt him his burns. The blue dragon broke the mirror (great, seven years bad luck...). Party goes to dragon horde: Parendor takes an emerald, sapphire and the Scimitar of Speed scroll, Heidi took a box of turquoise animal figurines, a brass mug with jade inlay, a large well-made tapestry, and the Wings of Flying recipe. Mispira took the potions for Identification purposes, Tinika took the Potion of Greater Healing, Leront took a silver necklace with a gemstone pendant, Nak took all the copper pieces, and Luther took all the remaining loot. Tinika reconstructed Emmit with a proper body, he knows his name (Precious and protecc as hecc). Nak finds a Warhammer! (it turn smol for smol boi). He has chat with Orc God Gruumsh (new travel companion acquired? New Language spoken.). Mispira attempts to Identify, has chat with ancestor who says many things (much confusion, like all family gatherings.), does not Identify (blood boiling dissipates).
The party leaves the dungeon, big storm (Duck season! Rabbit season! the quarrel of two great minds.). Party decides to continue traveling to get out of the storm, the lightning delivereth a man (introducing Arnold, the Half-Orc Barbarian!). The gentleman is filled with much befuddlement, talks of things no one knows about (Heidi thinks he's a grifter.) Mispira and Nak try to understand him (Gruumsh knows of the "capital" Arnold referenced. Mispira knows that the tenth level magic he spoke of is hella old). Both deduce that this fellow is from another era. Conversations are had (Mispira spoke with Arnold a bit, Heidi and Nak had a language exchange of Primordial for Draconic.). Everyone bed down, except for the rotation of watching the camp (Heidi, Leront, and Luther), Mispira asked for Tinika to assist her with safety precautions (manacles) before going to bed. Tinika was heavily distracted during her watch and failed to notice Zendor joining the party for a nap. We leave off in the early morning, where the rolling of ominous clouds loomed over the desert with the burning of one branch of the Del'Rae Cactus, brought to you by a strike of lightning!
