Nephele Cataegis - 30 years (old in 2528) - Air Genasi - Air Elemental Guardian
Nephele is the child of a Djinn lord who was residing in the mountains near the Aarakocra city, and a mortal explorer. After meeting him during one of her adventures and having their trist, the explorer realized she was pregnant, and decided to stay and put down some roots in the city. After having Nephele, she opened a magic shop due to her knowledge and expertise on magical items to make a living.
When Nephele was seven years old, her mother temporarily closed the shop and left her in the care of friends and neighbors to search for magical items out in the world. For reasons still unknown she did not return. Nephele spent her youth studying her mother’s notes, journals and magical items, eventually reopening the shop herself at the age of 19. She has spent the last 11 years running it, and came into her position as the Air Elemental Guardian during that time.
She gained the nickname “Flurry” at a young age; due to the ‘flurries’ of stormy dispositions she had, brought on by her paternal lineage. She is very charismatic and always on the lookout for a good selling opportunity, is very comfortable when making deals, and is never afraid to speak her mind. She is also equally comfortable in seclusion, especially in the mountains surrounding the city during storms. She despises the enslavement of Air Elementals and will not hesitate to cause trouble about it when done in her presence.
She carries twin ornamental daggers, a gift from her Djinn father. While they don’t have much of a relationship, he does at the very least acknowledge her as his child. While she wonders still what happened to her mother, she is content with living her life within the city and the surrounding mountains, only leaving if she absolutely has to.
Air Genasi, Guardian of her home city of Ouranos. Extremely short tempered and short-sighted, as well as greedy and quite vain, she is definitely an...experience.
