LC E4: Meeting Gerdren, I wasn't drunk, I swear!

I didn't touch a drop of drink that wasn't water and Ms. Heidi says that I've been spoutin' the nonsense! I swear on my Ma's flower gardens that I did no such mischief!    We left for the main trade routes headed towards Arpin to catch up with this caravan the dragon was wanting the loots from. His hoard seems organized and very clean, maybe he wants to add to his hoard. Seems likely with dragons. We found some ruins of some buildings, Ms. Heidi would know more. Lady Mispira was nearly shot down by some nasties that ended up being half-ogres fightin' a cyclops.     A proper tussle, it was! Ms. Heidi popped that bugger's eye out clean! You go, Ms. Heidi! Some loot was gathered and a spooky message from the cyclops' ghost. I'm not the superstitious sort, but ghosts give me the creeps and that message did not sound pleasant.   Later in the night, we decided to hide out and wait for this Gerdren fellow to stroll by. They nearly got by us completely and a couple of folks decided to meet in middle. Lady Mispira stayed close with Tinika and Ms. Heidi until they left when I wasn't looking, and I chose to stay behind and protect the gear.    Don't know what was discussed outright, but I admit that I got a bit impatient and rode on the mule after putting everything away for everyone, in case we were headed somewhere.   All I know is that I was riding up and the next thing I knew, I was face-planted in the sand. Again, I didn't touch a drop of nothing that wasn't water! According to Lady Mispira, I was pushed off by some ghosts this time, I worry that I may be cursed and causing Ms. Heidi more trouble. But I suppose that means I am helping by being the one taking on this instead of it gettin' to Ms. Heidi or any of these other folks.   We're gonna bring this Gerdren fellow to chat with the dragon, that should make for a wonderful conversation when we get back. It'll be a long night and hard ride into morning.
