LC E2: Headed out again and smackin' vultures
I woke up early to write letters for everyone because my dear Ma taught me that when you inconvenience someone that "an apology comes before breakfast", and that is what I did. I wrote one for Lady Mispira also, though I don't think she read it, I don't mind. I'm just happy I could make things easier for everyone after being a royal mess.
I wanted to help with setting up the fixins' for rations for the trip, but Lady Mispira seems like a lass who likes things a particular way in her kitchen. Ma always taught me; "Don't come between a chef and their kitchen.", the only exception bein' to make some food to make amends. We went shoppin' for some goods before leavin', Ms. Heidi bought a hat and Lady Mispira picked up a jacket (the craftsmanship is grand, but she seems to be with the coin if her mother is any indication). Ms. Tinika gave the Gruung fellow a little doodad that does something or other, wasn't paying attention. Lady Mispira went to visit the goliath fellow from the night before, this time he didn't seem to be in the mood for a chat.
We eventually set off into the desert again and found some poor sod's dead body bein' dragged through the sand by a poor mule. The armored fellow, Sir Parendor made a new buddy or will when the critter takes a liking to him. They don't say "stubborn as a mule" without reason.
The Gruung fellow flew right at those vultures and got them real good. Seems he does some kind of magic. Ms. Tinika doesn't seem too observant at times and nearly fell in a sandpit and we all had to pull to yank her out. The pale fellow used some sort of magic too, I think. I was focused on pullin', Lady Mispira scooped her out of the sand when the moment was right. We decided to settle down for the night, to avoid more sand troubles, and it seems Ms. Tinika went missin' some time during the night! What a troublesome lot this might be.
