Muzzi Izzet

Nobody knows what Izzet, until it isn't. -Family Motto

Physical Description
Muzzi is a male satyr of above average-satyr height, known for looking quite frail in the torso and arms. One of his horns appears to be a jadeite replica prosthetic intricately carved with symbols and the fur on the outside of his left leg is growing patchy due to a severe burn. He does not often wear traditional clothes, often opting for a kilt or even a knee-length skirt to avoid having clothes altered for his goat legs.
Personality Description
Muzzi is a skilled musician and a master of confidence schemes. As a singing minstrel he is proficient with nearly every stringed instrument, and yet is nearly always fidgeting with a set of hand-fashioned drumsticks. As a crooked flimflammer, he's familiar with tricks of persuasion and scams of a varied sort but will always fall back onto his skills as a document forger. He impulsively plays the first street corner game of chance he sees in a town. He refers to this as "testing the waters."
He rarely turns away money, even gold coin which he detests, but will often work for silver trade bars or alternatively, favors to be called upon in the future. These favors are tracked in a journal written in a modified Thieves Cant style code. Aside from the joy he gets from using or gaining favors, Muzzi profoundly loves the crescendo of a con. Win, lose, or draw to him there is not a more exhilarating feeling.
Muzzi spent three years of his adult life transformed into a female satyr by a curse put on him by a "Ghellosk." He now no longer cares which pronoun is used in his reference. He is not hard aligned to any person, place, or thing and chaotically staggers back and forth across a self-imposed line of neutrality like a drunkard on his ale trying to folk dance.
Traits and Abilities
-Has the ability to conjure a disembodied hand by snapping his fingers and calling out, "Hey Maestro."
-Can inspire fellow adventurers to succeed with unique and individually crafted lyrics.
-Cannot be put to sleep by means of magic, and can resist being charmed.
-Is quite adept at identifying forged documents and maps. He is skilled at making forgeries specializing in signatures and wax seals.
-Will often hire downtrodden for information gathering purposes and pays vagabonds to accompany him as a sort of caddie on his travels, for a portion of the gold he earns adventuring.
-When he is not working as an adventurer, Muzzi will often don a disguise.
-Unless disguised as a female, he will often shake his left foot like it has fallen asleep when urinating.
Early History
As per commonly held Wild Satyr traditions, Muzzi was left as an infant to be raised by an adoptive family, in this case of the Wynii town of Dreamstride. Growing up in the WilderFade different from his found family had its challenges and he quickly learned that, unlike the faeriekin who can disappear, he would have to find his own way to hide.
As an adolescent, He and two close friends (Nym Diliriy and Isarrel Ajji) traveled to Respites' main spatial dimension and landed themselves on the continent of Eusticke. They made the journey to the nearby Norfahlia, a human city unknown to them to be corrupted through to the core. After getting separated on arrival, Muzzi spent the better part of a week before finding Nym had been sold into slavery and Isarrel had been murdered, both for the sake of gold coin.
Many months later, during travel between gigs, Muzzi found a strange and disheveled roadside shrine with a rather unique coin in the offering bowl. Attempting to leave the shrine alone flooded his mind with flashing images of the coin and several different voices all saying at once, "Make your own luck." Having taken the coin, he has named it the "All or Nothing" coin and it has become a stapled identifier of Muzzi Izzet.
Known Aliases
Menzi Toft - A short elderly male satyr, with grey hair and fur. Is often found selling cure-alls and phony "Get rich quick!" schemes. Dresses as if he were a notable noble person, preferring neatly and exquisitely tailored clothing. Menzi Toft has documentation establishling his existence, from letters from leaders and monarchs to deeds of ownership of homes and businesses.
Jillian Jardin - An orange-skinned tiefling female with black hair. Found busking and playing a hurdy-gurdy around town squares and marketplaces. Tends to dress in leather armor and is often overlooked or unseen when donning anything else.

Eel'song Gribbs - A traveling male goblin bard (friend, performance rival)
Roycelyn Carrie - A nomadic human female fiddler(competitive performance rival)
Bixby - A human male wizard scholar (nemesis, scam artist)

Employment

Renown
-Made famous on two continents for a song they wrote and plays frequently entitled, "The Night Our Heroes Died"
-Famously lost a minstrels challenge received by a long-time friend and rival, Eel'song the goblin bard. Eel'song won after the crowd erupted in cheer during a particularly cheeky rendition of a song titled, "Muzzi doesn't know".
Notoriety
-A 'Menzi Toft' is innfamous in the city of 'Kailin' for promoting and selling a "Transmutation Box" said to be capable of turning simple rocks into gold coins. Pre rigged to spit out a coin for the first fifty rocks before popping open and falling to pieces. Sold three units for a combined 280lbs. of one-ounce silver trade bars.
-Muzzi is hated in the pirate-run 'Kraggstown' for selling "Coupons of Luterberg Knighthood" to the locals for a pound of silver each coupon. Muzzi claimed them to be legit and redeemable by the Lord Stachelere of Luterberg, a nearby trading port. Over thirty sailors of ill repute were incarcerated trying to cash in on becoming a Knight.
Rumors
-The people of certain city-states think he is actually a woman.
-Some folk believe he has the ability to time travel, despite no evidence of proof.
-Believed (but unconfirmed) to have released political prisoners being held by the country of Khelmora, using the fake documents "signed" by their Queen.
Bounty Writs Outstanding

-A 'Menzi Toft' is wanted in Sinsera for using the king's signature to gain access to and looting the royal vaults of over a hundred rune stones. Bounty set at 200 gold coins, Alive.

The 'All or Nothing' Coin
A small silver coin, seemly hand-fashioned, has a symbol of a spade centered in a toothed cog on one side, with the symbol of the opposing side worn off from being held and thumb-rubbed. This coin is one of the very few distinguishing features that all of Muzzi's aliases can be seen with at some point. By all accounts and appearances, it is just a coin.
The coins' power is personal. Muzzi always flips the coin in any situation he determines the need. To pirate goods or not, to murder for information or return empty-handed, or even to pick between tobacco or apples to buy a sack. To him, it has never led him wrong... yet.
There are two competing stories as to the coins' origins, as Muzzi will tell either story when asked about it. The first story told is that it is intricately handmade by Muzzi himself. The second is that Muzzi found it in an offering bowl at a roadside altar to a god of luck. The altar has seemingly disappeared since then, and the god of luck seems to not exist.

Author's Notes

I wrote most of this over the course of this last week while sick. Due to this, I still have a lot of editing to do, a lot to reorganize and explain with better clarity, and I am still trying to get a couple of images up to break up the text. Feel free to critique as harshly as you want as that is how I will grow.
Postscript, this is the first time I have written something for others to read since high school. I hope you enjoy it.

Nice read, seems like a pretty interesting character! I like the addition of him having lived as as a female satyr for 3 years, really gives him a good reason not to care anymore what people say :p I wonder what a Ghellosk is though? You mention that he has some aliases, are these disguises of him through magical illusion?   (btw if you want to add images as you said in your notes , you will most likely need to ask Barron permission because after the stream today only small changes are allowed :) )

Feel free to check my new world Terra Occidentalis if you want to see what I am up to!

Thanks for the comment, as well as the "heads up" on the images. To answer your question a Ghellosk is a homebrew fey species with four variants that can (once per day) alter their targets age, sex, size or species. As for the aliases, I meant for them to be physical disguises with illusions to hide features not easily hidden but I mistakenly never added that explanation. This character is far from finished, so it good to see all my failings and missteps. Take care!

Hehe, I like the catchphrases. they seem like a really fun character (until they con you of your coin). Lots of nice added touches, like the reason they hate gold coins. Nice work

Such a fascinating character. I really like all the different little details you have about him and his personality. I like his aliases too. :D
