Deep Folk

The Deep Folk were originally members of the The First Church of Giants who had there ship sunk. To far from land, the group of Elves prayed to the waters themselves. And the Waters responded. The Elves were lead to a chasm underwater which they dubbed the Deep Trench. There they would find the The Great Fish who would teach the Elves the powers of the ocean. These Elves would become the first Triton.
The second group of people to join the Deep Folk would again be Elves, this time Elves who didn't feel safe during the War of Giants and Dragons followed old maps to find Deep Trench. They were welcomed with open arms and became the first Sea Elves.

Structure

The Deep Folk are a collection of Triton and Sea Elves that get power from the magical waters of Deep Trench and the The Great Fish. There's no leader besides the fish, just an order of equals.
