Chǐrǔ, Devourer of Shame

Under the streets of Old Town lies a moonbridge connecting to Chǐrǔ's realm, near Attrocity Realm, source of a mysterious poison that is slowly killing Jacob, the Unyielding.
Chiru appears as a hulking beast with too-long limbs, pale fatty skin hanging loosely from its twisted skeleton - as if a blanket of blubber were thrown over a collection of broken bones. Its tiny head, barely peaking out from the folds of skin of its neck, has mismatched eyes, broken teeth and a huge, bulbous nose. Patches of its skin are covered in pimples and pale white polyps, some plump with a viscous green poison . It eats stories of guilt and shame, reaching out with its many servants to bring it the juiciest, most satisfyingly degrading morsels. The bold may barter a human life in exchange for a poison-filled polyp. Chǐrǔ will devour the offering, feasting on a lifetime's worth of remorse and humiliation.
