Imperial Heritage Crystal
The Imperial Heritage Guild worked alongside the Arcane Consortium and the Imperial Hierarchy to develop a more secure way of showing citizenship to the Empire.
Purpose
The Imperial Heritage Guild created the Heritage Crystals as a way of guaranteeing individuals the right to benefit from citizen ship to the Empire. Each crystal contains inscribed information relating to the location of the persons birth, their parents names, the ruling nobles of the local council, and a number associated with a related document in the Heritage Guild of original registration.

This crystal is recognized under the jurisdiction of the Empire of Five Kings, and grants the wearer access to the many benefits associated with that citizenship.
Historical Details
Background
The realization that infusing gems with inscriptions and then infusing that with the individual was possible, the Imperial Bureaucracy took full advantage and began to use this as a way of denoting inclusion in the benefits of the Empires advancements.
History
The expansions of the First age built a resounding increase in the overall population, a short generation later and that number had nearly doubled. With the increase in people came an increase in productivity and output within the society, and by the end of the first age, the Empire of Five Kings was looking to be a massive sprawling complex of different cultures intermingling. The quality of life within Cities began to rise and the desire to gain from those general benefits grew with it. Things like financial assistance, payouts from military service, access to medical treatments, and a chance for the ability to rise in the ranks of society.
Public Reaction
The Royalty, Nobility, Lesser Nobility, and most members of the Cities were overjoyed at the prospect of securing a proper society. The idea of having a right to the benefits that you were paying for were even more welcomed by the outer towns and villages, but the access to those service were few and far between.
