Lerikan Brightwater
Lerikan is an apprentice of Jorzu Brasswander, a highly renown tinkerer and artificer from Alvarance in Gendeau. Though Alvarance is known for its riches and luxuries, Lerikan found himself not seeing anything. It turns out that though Jorzu is so well known and regard, he is a stingy man when paying his apprentices. One of Jorzu's rules for his apprentices was that no apprentice could do any side business. Lerikan, being in need of money, broke this rule. Sadly, Jorzu found out and tossed Lerikan out of the apprenticeship and made Lerikan's life miserable while he stayed in Alvarance.
Soon, Lerikan decided it was time to leave and find his own way to learn more about being an artificer. He decided to make his way north, as far away from Alvarance as he could. He stopped at Balenjyr for a time and then to Elteare. But at each stop, the moment he settle in and recieved a little reputation, Jorzu's "minions" came into the city to make life miserable for Lerikan again.
Lerikan forced himself to go even further north, skipping many towns and cities along the way. To gain some money while not working his craft, he would join adventuring groups to past the time and at least have some kind of travel companions with him.
Soon Lerikan found himself on the road to Hillsboro. He heard that the area of Korlon Hills was fresh with opportunity and very far north from his troubled past. He decided to seek his fortune there. If not, then would have to go back home to Valen and work for his family.
