Ivan successfully made allies with the temperamental lizardfolk of the Great Nest. He exchanged "gifts" with their Chieftain Sslar which seemed to form a ritualistic pact between the two peoples.
He later formed an alliance with the self-proclaimed Queen of Hindland, Yewthinca the Tall, ending hostilities between the two nations.
