Aggie

(a.k.a. Old Aggie)

Aggie is a friendly druid woman who lives beyond the river west of Shertoona in Dark Appalachia.
She understands protective rune magic and opposes the forces behind the Eternal Dawn Mining Company. Aggie offered shelter to a band of school children who ran afoul of the mining company bosses.
She is allies with Earl, the farmhand and burly protector.

Magical Wards

Aggie's powerful natural magic has allowed her to create wards which keep at bay the darkness that hides under Shertoona. Protective runes ring the perimeter of her cabin.
She may be responsible for the runes which used to protect the town from the graveyard, which a party of hapless school children removed while investigating rumors about "dead who dance."
