The Circle of Magi is an academic center dedicated to teaching magick to future medics of the Asmya Kingdom, having taught some of the kingdom's most brilliant of clerics. This facility is a massive university built for raising the next medics and even greater clerics.
Today, the university is a clinical trial and research facility for teaching the younger generations of magickal Asmyan sirens. It also takes into account the royal Pike family, featuring the Royal Lecture Hall.

History

The Circle of Magi was founded in Sress 16, 4782 TA by Cyreus Bered, a cleric of the royal family. Seeing as the royal family needed future clerics to help tend to them, Cyreus sought to build an educational facility deemed to the future clerics and other medics that tend to the citizens of Asmya Kingdom.
Cyreus secured funds for the construction of the campus by holding a meeting with the king of Asmya and proposing any non-royal siren born in the native land of Asmya that is capable of using magick should be required to attend a university for medics. The king listened to his cleric and decided that the medic at the top of their class would be named the new cleric once the current cleric stepped down or passed away. He then proceeded to fund the construction, building a large building capable of teaching 1,000 students. Cyreus would then call the university the Circle of Magi, a home for magickal sirens and medical studies.
Over the next thousand years, the university would expand and create new facilities as studies of medical knowledge increased. In total, four buildings were constructed, each named for their benefit to society. When King Lusca Pike was crowned, he took time out of his first year of ruling to take a few courses at the university to see how he could expand upon it. King Lusca saw the potential in what the university did and declared a new building be constructed, one designed specifically for studying clinical trials. Thus, the Elixir Observatory was built, capable of handling hundreds of trials for the sake of healing the sick, wounded, and poisoned.

Current Day

A couple of thousand years after the construction of the university, the scientific studies have greatly improved the lives of the citizens. Those who graduate go off to become medics in the local hospitals of major cities in Asmya.
