Trolls

Trolls are a common species throughout Wold that can be found in almost any mountain or large hill, and underground as well. Many different types of trolls exist that are specific to a certain climate and weather. Some of the different species of trolls include hill trolls, mountain trolls, swamp trolls, cave trolls, and ice trolls. They are semi-intelligent and are able to form benefitting relationships with other Trolls as well. The most intelligent among them can even herd and utilize animals. They are capable of speech and even have their own tounge which is said to sound like "incoherrent groaning".
Trolls are often aggressive and extremely territorial. Once they have established their land, they will fight to the deal to defend it. Offspring of Trolls with search for land to claim their own, usually by creeks or hills. This leads to many altercations with Trolls and settlements. The Dwarves consider the Trolls to be no different then Orks, Elves believe them to be a curse from Broar, God of the Primal, Humans consider them to be a dangerous nuisence, and Orks consider them to be a distant relative.

Orgins

Trolls derive from the species known as the Yui, but they were split from them, taking the strength of their ancestors, while their kin, the Ilea, took the intelligence.
