Forest of Yomduil

The Forest of Yomduil is a large forest found in Northern Guilnile, just south of the Gathleen Isles. It is the northernmost forest on the continent. Many believe that the Gnomes, on their way west after the Entarist, planted the forest after staying in Guilnile for a time. A group of the Gnomes stayed behind, falling in love with the enchanted forest, due to a magical nature spirit deep within Guilnile being awoken by the growth of the forest and calling it her home, and using the Gnomes as her servants. These Gnomes would be known to the Dwarves as "Snow Gnomes" and live in uneasy contention with the Dwarves, who fear the forest in a way. 

Geography

The forest is overlooked by the tower of Ochalnt-Gard, leading some to believe that the mysterious old tower has someway blessed the land to allow the forest to grow.
