Austrus

Austrus is one of the Twelve Wicked Companions of Muluch. He once served his master, Muluch but now serves his children, the twin rulers, Quillion and Kalonice. He has the special ability of shapeshifting, which is thought to be a gift from the Forsaken Gods, as he was once part of the Grove, but would later join Sarus during the Roscrean-Civil War.

Personal history

Austrus grew up in the Duadellian Peninsula and took part of carless animal torture and pain. His sick practice involved skinning an animal and then wearing its skin. Seria would then cleanse itself by casting a spell to curse all those that carelessly tortured animals by turning them into half breeds. Austrus would be one of those that were cursed, but his curse was special, as it made him have the ability to shape-shift.
Austrus and the other half-breeds would then go in exile to the Grove for a place of shelter. When the Roscrean-Serian civil war occured, Austrus would venture from the Grove and do battle with the Roscreans coming from the south. One day, he transformed himself into a bull and charged the Roscrean invaders, killing many. He himself would be wounded, but the Serians he had protected brought him to Muluch, who would pardon his past sin and believe that his talent as a shape-shifter would be useful. He would be reinstated with Seria and be one of the Twelve Wicked Companions.
