Ceigh

Ceigh lies to the east of Throntrit, lying on the cusp of the mountains, surrounded by lakes. This city is at the forefront of the ongoing disrest with Vrenait, with guards posted at the large mountain tunnel that connects both regions. Although Hidel’s citizens don’t approve of citizens without magic, the Magocracy understands that the military needs more than just magic. This city is where most “normal” individuals live in Hidel, and has three distinct regions. The Military Expanse, Garden Hollow, and the Trade Ward.

Districts

Military Expanse: Centered around the tunnel connecting Hidel and Vrenait, this city has numerous buildings littered throughout for active combat purposes. On the tunnel arch itself, lies numerous military barracks attached to the lip of the tunnel. These barracks have numerous arrow slits for a hail of arrows in case a forward march pushes through. On the eastern side of the expanse is a small lake.


Garden Hollow: Home of a fair few alchemists, the garden hollow provides a variety of herbs to allow for medical treatment of the city and it’s soldiers. In the middle of the hollow lies a large spruce tree, that has been magically infused to produce goodberries. Posted outside of the tree are multiple gardens, as well as multiple buildings with infirmaries and shops set up.


Trade Ward: This ward houses trade for various travelers that travel through the tunnels, with approval, or travelers from inside Hidel going out. This district is connected to the Military Expanse, and often provides general goods for travelers. The few inns and various entertainment options are provided by House Rebel, of Throntrit, in service of the military men and women.
