Witren

"You can't expect to hit a jackpot if you don't put a few nickles in the machine."

Witren, and it's denizens, are on the cusp of a new age. Civilizations are currently in an age of knowledge, developing new Magic and Technologies. Airships flutter out and about, using sails and gears to move the hulls, though these are typically only owned by very rich individuals, or research stations. Some civilizations have even attempted, somewhat successfully, to bridge the gap between the two, a sort of "Magitech" as called by inventors. Albeit unstable, due to a lack of proper testing, Magitech reaps high rewards.

Recently, during the past century, denizens of other realms have started becoming more active, often visiting Witren, the most common being the fey-children. Denizens of the deep, dark, and demonic has also been cropping up, giving Nations headaches to deal with on a near daily basis. Whether by whim or other factors, is still unknown.

In short, Witren is in a flux; excitingly unstable.
