Islwyn
Islwyn is the leader of an Aen Seidhe commando operating in Temeria. He fought in the second Nilfgaardian war only to be shunned by his countrymen due to the stipulations of the Peace of Cintra. Some of the families of these soldiers in Dol Blathnna refused to cut their ties and instead decided to join their loved ones. Many families reunited with their loved ones in Islwyn's unit and they supported their operations.
However, this would lead to a massacre. Munro Boyle, a Temerian sergeant, had a history with the elf: During the evacuation of Aldersberg, Boyle's wife and child were killed by an attacking elven unit. That unit was led by Islwyn. Boyle eventually learned of Islwyn by a lone survivor and was able to identify him after a relentless investigation.
Boyle learned that Islwyn was operating near him after hearing reports. He deserted the Temerian military with those most loyal to him and hit the commando camp while they were out on a raid. The family members were massacred, and Islwyn tracked the Temerians and subsequent conflicts were fought.
In the spring of 1272, the events of an Encounter with Munro Boyle and Islwyn's Commando took place and the elf and his unit left the area after having finally dealt with Boyle and his unit.
