Sildrak Forest

Covering an area of almost seven hundred and fifty square miles, this ancient woodland contains a hugely diverse selection of plant and animal life. It is also home to several communities, not all of which are common knowledge. Starting on the slopes of the Whistltop Ranges, the forest runs down into the lowlands and then sweeps around the northern shore of Carawall Lake and halfway down it's western side until it reaches the hazy fens. The Deepflow river runs through the heart of the forest until it empties into Carawall lake.
While most of the forest is left to its denizens there are a few logging settlements along its borders. The largest of which is maintained by the city of Whistletop. These settlements have regulations which they must abide by, covering things like logging quotas, the requirements for reforestation, and native endangered species.
