Hazel Longtail

Appearance

Being a doormouse, Hazel is only five centimetres long, and her tail is even longer than she is, at six centimetres, a fact she is very proud of. Her fur is a dark sandy brown with a lighter sandy colour on her underside. Her eyes are nearly black and protrude slightly from her head. Her ears are large and round, and her whiskers short and fine.

Personality

She is a quiet spoken and thoughtful sort, tends to think carefully before speaking, and then only if she thinks it is relevant. People have learned to listen to her when she does speak however, as she is one of the oldest Mousefolk in the town, and is known to be quite insightful. Although she doesn't say much herself, she enjoys being around folk and is a very good listener.

Role

Hazel is a member of the town council, and has been for six years. Quincy Quickpaw, the current Headmouse of The Burrows, often seeks her advice when trying to settle disagreements between townsfolk. She is quite shrewd and keeps herself apprised of the town gossip, though she isn't one to pass that gossip on, so people are more inclined to confide in her.
