Credited with being the founder of Treex Aaf, Freanx was an intelligent and driven Goblin who worked tirelessly to help create a good home for her people. Her parents had noticed her quick mind early on, and sent her off to school in the big city. She struggled at first, being so far away from everything she knew, but eventually she made friends with two other students and the three of them became near insepperable. One was a Human boy called Addurn, and the other a Dwarf by name of Noratdrethra, who they just called Ethra. Goblin who founded the treacle mines and also the town. realised what the goblins had found. began the construction of a small village and the mining of the treacle, at first just traded it until they had enough gold to send some of them to culinary school in the big cities. They brought back the secrets of toffee making, she then encouraged the villagers to set up a town based around the whole toffee and treacle idea. people would would pay money to come and see the only treacle mine. and the toffee the goblins were able to produce with it was known as the best in the valley. Early on some uncsrupulous folk tried to come and take the mine from the goblins claiming that it was on land that belonged to them. it nearly came to blows but, the clever thinking of the founder saved the day. She convinced a family of trolls to move into some caves on the other side of the hill to them. In return for free toffee and treacle, the trolls would keep any undesirables away. The thieves claimed that they would be back with a larger force, but in the meantime the founder had sent off to the city to make an official claim on the land, along with a proposal of their plans for it. Now owning the land officially, they now also had the protection of the city. Though it often took days for any troops to get out this far, the trolls were a far more effective deterrent.
Hi there! You may not know me, but I am the sponsor of the Great Leader of Their People Summer Camp Prompt this year! Since you wrote this article, I would like to know, would you mind me reading it aloud on my Twitch channel next week? I have a lot to get through so it helps to do it live while people watch. If not, it's okay! Not agreeing to be streamed definitely does not put you at any disadvantage for winning in my eyes. Please respond swiftly by replying here (make sure to click REPLY under my comment or I won't be notified), message me on my World Anvil profile page, Discord, or anywhere else you find me online. Thanks again! Whatever you choose, God bless and much success! <3

Enlisting the help of the Trolls with Treacle shows the sheer brilliance of Freanx. And... I found myself suddenly hungry for sweets while reading this.
I think I may have been hungry when I wrote these articles, hehe! Glad you enjoyed it!
