Captain Surrendur Von Derpaira (a.k.a. "Aunt Syndi")

Surrendur is an Espini citizen (Serpini species) who is one of the most seasoned Archeologists with the Sanctuary Saints guild. Surrendur is considered a mage in this guild and is a master at light Ressonance, creating various constructs made of these hard light that can be used to  aid her team as disruptors. Surrendur struggles with being accepted by her community because of the history her species has with the rest of the world. Surrendur invest alot of energy into making her group feel at eas. Surrendur is not only the Captain of the Sanctuary Saints but also the guilds main socialite.  She projects a warm and friendly demeanor with some over flirtatious subtones. This investments in her social behavior is largley due to her strong desire to not appear dangerous and to appear trustworthy. As a predator species this can be challenging, however, she has found comfort in Oisa City due to it's various species cohabitation influences. Surrender is a well known chemists and provides a variety of supplements and elixers to her team for maximum performance. When Surrendur is not being the teams mage she pursues a life as a Apocethary owner and local pianist for a popular tavern in Oisa's North District.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Surrendur typically avoids physical activity as the teams buffer/healer . However, when threatend with close quarters combat she will rely on her biology for defense.

Surrendur poses a long flexible Serpent frame that anchors long arms and legs to a shortened torso.

Identifying Characteristics

Long snake-like body. Surrendur one of the rare Animals that wears shoes. She wears a combination of garments that allow for high flexibility and heat retention.

Physical quirks

As a Serpini her biology is unique compared to most Animals.  When posed with physical threat, she is able to dislocate her joints to gain maximum flexibility.  She is able constrict her flexible muscles around her adversaries subduing them to a temporary prison of muscle. This also allows her to lengthen or shorten any part of her body at will.

Surrendurs garments are an interesting combination of style and practicality.  She dresses  the parts oofher body that are the most accessible to physical interactions.  Due to her unique biology Surrendur has to be careful not to allow other Animals to make accidental physical contact so her garments act as every-day armour . Her style is a combination of scantily clad and evening attire. The garments are made from materials that protect from external biologies and provide heat retention. She usually prefers the styles that Mages, witches and wizards.

Serpini and most Espinian citizens are hermaphrodites and are parthenogenic. For Surrendur's species, Serpini, there is a quarterly cycle that happens every 3 months. This  quarterly cyle is referred as a Serpini's ouroboros. Serpini's have a very unique biology that allows them to ideally live forever unless influenced by other means. 
Serpini's give birth to themselves around every 3 months. The embryonic incubation is an accelerated 2 week process and whatever genetic code was absorbed by the primary will pass it on to the new offspring of themselves. Once delivered, the baby clone will have all memories and consciousness as the adult.
 The new baby clone will come out two ways: it will either have NO new genetic code and be an exact copy of the adult host  or  It will have new genetic code that was aborbed by the adult at some time during the quarterly cylce. In the situation that there is NO new genetic code the adult will devour the infant version of themselves within a 7 day period otherwise they both will die. If the offspring has new genetic code that the adult does NOT want passed on it will also devour the offspring. If the offspring has code that the adult does want then the offspring will devour the adult within 7 days.
When the infant devours the adult version of themselves,  they will go into their first puberty and their accelerated growth to young adult takes one solar cycle . Once reaching young adult hood they will have their first ouroboros and if survived starts their adult life.
