Lanta

Appearance: Lanta is an old halfling, with a head of snowy white hair in thick, intricate braids, including rich coloured ribbons and weighted with heavy steel rings. She is tiny and hunched over, with a face full of wrinkles, but she still has a sparkle in her eye and a ready smile. She is usually dressed in well-made clothes designed for long days on the road, and she carries a large, well-worn pack filled with goods she has collected in her long years of trading. Despite her age, she is still quick on her feet and can move with surprising speed when she needs to.
As leader of the caravan, Lanta's priority is the travelling caravan itself rather than direct trade, however she does have her own wares should they be needed. Her main business is that of tithes from other traders that keep the Caravan mercenaries well paid and equipped. Experienced traders will not skimp on this tithe - the Carvan's protection and goodwill is worth the investment.
Lanta has her own caravan that is pulled by an extremely large goat called Buttercup. Despite her name, her beautiful harness and the ribbons wound around her horns, Buttercup has a face only a mother could love, with wild yellow eyes and an expression that can only be described as murderous. She does however do absolutely everything Lanta tells her, and this occasionally makes her a useful negotiating partner.
Lanta also travels with a large raven called Fiachra, who can often be spotted on a custom perch for him on her caravan, or flying ahead to scout.
