McCarron's Armored Cavalry

Overview

A storied and successful mercenary outfit, McCarron's Armored Cavalry almost exclusively takes contracts for the Capellan Confederation. However, financial and personnel losses following the Fourth Succession War led to the outfit putting effort into rebuilding. One of the efforts was to dispatch a single Lance of BattleMechs to investigate rumors of a cache on White Reach. However, on arriving and finding far too many other forces vying for a piece of it, Colonel Hale made a decision to change the plan.

White Reach Operations

While on White Reach, Colonel Hale reached out to some of the mercenaries and local owners of military hardware and acquired a few choice pieces. When discovering Priam Company had put Skyros Firebase practically on the other side of the mountain from where the MAC's DropShip had been stationed. Worried about being targeted, the decision was made to attempt striking at Skyros Firebase and take out the Raven RVN-1X which was providing scouting assistance with its advanced sensors. This mission wound up being successful, with the base having its power generators heavily damaged and the Raven's gyro being critically damaged. Following this, Colonel Hale waited another week to recall all personnel before leaving White Reach to return to Capellan territory.
