  • The Harbingers begin putting more effort into their contract with Kreiss, sending scouts to the shores of both the Pelea and Lucent continents. Their primary choice is to determine a place to set up forward bases, but the chance of discovering interesting points is not discarded. Along the way, the scouts report hostile forces belonging to the Fourth Legion and 22nd Skye Rangers. Both forces were noted to be seemingly in retreat, though the 22nd Skye attempted to impede the ultralight's path. Neither scout could give a good

    Hearing of this, Commander Dupree dispatched his DropShip to intercept the Fourth Legion's forces on Pelea with a selection of his skilled forces. Since he assumed the 22nd Skye forces were those dispersed previously, the Commander decided to personally lead a force to eliminate them. Shortly after engaging, Calderon Base had two DropShips land nearby and begin unloading an attack force. The Kommandant in charge had decided to make a serious attempt to hit the Harbingers when they were at their most vulnerable.

      Commander Sethan was much more concerned with fortifying a position near the discovered "Anomaly" now dubbed 'Anomaly L16' by Priam Company. The construction of a field base was put underway, and Mikell made decisions to reinforce the small Lance which had been there before. However, there was the matter of the Fourth Legion and the threat they still represented. Against recommendations from his officers, Commander Sethan dispatched the 'Aquila' to carry a force to put an end to Sakura Firebase.

    As this was happening, he opted to move to the new 'Anomaly Base' to keep a close eye on matters there. The choice to reinforce the defenders was fortuitous, as the former Baroness had dispatched one of her elite mercenary Lances to take control of Grid L16 with the assistance of three infantry platoons. Commander Sethan would have to defend his claim with whatever he had on hand, and he knew this was just the first of many challengers who would line up to try to seize the apparent Lostech cache.

      The Harbingers manage to survive the attack on their base, though the damage to their units is quite extensive. On a positive note, they liquidate a great deal of salvage from the surrendering portion of the 22nd Skye Rangers. They also are able to recruit a number of 'MechWarriors and combat vehicle crews for the time being, though both parties are aware this is a temporary situation. After submitting a list of parts needed to repair the 'Mechs which had seen action, the Harbingers look ahead to a potentially easy end to their contract.

  • The assault force led by Olivia Garrido and Reginald Brand manage to strike down the Fourth Legion of Vega, destroying their capability to repair and replenish their forces. With their commanding and executive officers in holding cells, and a great deal of their hardware cluttering up Minos Firebase, Priam Company faces some questions on how to proceed with handling their foes. The damage incurred is severe, but it is expected to have all the active 'Mechs prepared for transfer to defend the Anomaly base.

    At the Anomaly Base, Commander Sethan has talked a Lance of mercenaries into switching sides and agreed to pay for their 'Mech repairs. Facing a desperate need for more personnel to keep his outfit capable, and a potential incoming storm of adversaries once word gets out, a great deal of efforts are put into searching for specific types of personnel locally. However, it seems the pool of available recruits has started drying up and Priam Company will have to manage with what they have available.
