  The Harbingers dispatch two scout flyers, with instructions to investigate the area to the northwest of Calderon Firebase. One flight swept along the coastline, intending to catch any more signs of Auburn's Lancers. They ended up discovering a small force, though they could not discern which side they claimed allegiance to. The other scout flight wound up almost critically damaged attempting to gather information on the known Lyran firebase, and was forced to abort to the Holfield Mining base.
Once this information was received, Commander Dupree mobilized the bulk of his forces to take care of the problem. When briefed about the lack of information on who they were, he commented it didn't matter as much as making sure nobody was in striking distance of Calderon Firebase with significant forces.

  With the presence of enemies suspected, and the inability to really continuously scout without expending more effort than was really able to be spared, Commander Sethan decided there was a need for a forward observation post. He dispatched the Raven and one Griffin to escort Lorelei Team to the Ninth Ward in order to set up a series of communications and sensor posts for that purpose.
A scouting flight was dispatched to keep an eye on the edges of the city, only to discover a location the Draconis Combine forces were using to gather for an apparent offensive. After weighing the risk, Commander Sethan marched a portion of his forces to investigate and determine exactly what the composition of the enemy was. Two fast-attack hovercraft were to be supported by a reinforced Lance of BattleMechs.

The Harbingers contacted Kreiss concerning the scrap material taken from the battlefield, failing to negotiate high enough to be given more than the usual "half of market value". A second request was made to see if she had any technician teams which could be hired on. After a round of discussion, she agreed to "loan" them an exceptionally skilled team on the request they continue sending good salvage her way.  

Priam Company

Following the combat, Commander Sethan made an attempt to negotiate with Kreiss and Andan Exports to get a better reputation. However, Kreiss was not moved at all and noted Priam Company was making enough of a stir it was becoming more likely they would need allies more than they would be needed.
