horse

Quadrupedal herd herbivores; domesticated in most countries for riding, farming and burden-bearing tasks.     Chereladi Common horses are little changed from the original plains mustangs. They are more frequently caught wild and "broken" to saddle or harness. Horses from Chereladi are primarily used to pull carts or for riding and are the most common breed found in Chereladi. They range smaller and more uniformly brown in coloration than some of the higher-bred horses. Saddle-bred horses are taller at the shoulder than common horses, with finer, more delicate features and a lighter frame. They are favored for light coursers and racing horses, as well as being the go-to choice for the wealthy horseman or huntsman. Chiche horses are known for their trainability and are often used in circuses, traveling shows, and other performance purposes. Strong enough to pull heavy wagons and smart enough to learn tricks, they are beloved by the nomadic groups which travel through Southern Chereladi. Hurbi Ma'ii horses are used by the Ma'ii tribe to aid in herding elk. Small, stocky and smart, these horses are considered "ugly" by many Chereladian breeders. Due to their small stature, they are seldom traded or bred outside of Hurbi.
