History

Founded by Taerngheim and the first Valngheim people, who fled the Mhalstag Mountains and the persecution of the Arkgen.

Demography and Population

Around 500,000 in the current year . Population growth does occur but rather slowly, this is due to the very low birth rate. The people are very spread out across the nation, with most of its people living in smaller towns and villages. The only large city within the nation, is its capital.

Territories

Currently control the western Frjanhel Mountains and Baildhgal Isles. Access to the Baildhgal Sea and the Torolem River.

Military

Well trained and equipped with very strong armor and weapons, cavalry is not utilized and longbows are the only ranged device found in this military.

Technological Level

Access and ability to make use of brailn allows for stronger metal items. Below average science and other technology, but moderate alchemy and quality ship-building.

Foreign Relations

Very reliable trade deals with Merchant Guild of Terelam, high tensions with the Durgnar Stratocracy in the east, lots of tension with the Kingdom of Zahgrim to the Southwest as well.

Agriculture & Industry

Whaling provides oil, bone, and lots of meat. The shearing and raising of Frjanhel sheepgoats provides milk, wool, and meat. Hunting and fishing also produces a fair amount of meat with the region being home to animals such as moose, caribou, and a variety of fish. The only plants grown for food are juniper berries, potatoes, and blackroot (though blackroot is more of an ingredient).This nation also produces very strong weapons and armor forged of brailn/steel alloy or even pure brailn.

Trade & Transport

Most exports go south via the Torolem river and are redistributed from the merchant ruled Lake-City, Terelam. This is also where most imports are sent from.

Education

All people learn Raengyl (Rain geel) the basic grappling and hand to hand martial art of the Valngheim, then they learn whatever else they need through apprenticeships or military service.

Infrastructure

Poor dirt trails for roads and usually small poorly maintained bridges, walled cities and a few fortresses and castles. A couple ports in the south, Brailn mines.
