Beauty Ideals

Men are supposed to have beards and women usually have long hair. Most Valngheim men have dark brown or black hair, while the women have brown or red hair. Both genders tend to be tattooed fairly.

Courtship Ideals

A man seeking to marry a woman must first battle one of the men in the family to prove his strength. He does not need to win to get permission to marry the woman, he just needs the respect of the family.

Relationship Ideals

Loyalty is key in Valgheim culture, and Valngheim may only marry once, for the marriage can never be broken, even beyond death. To marry again or to seperate is to bring great shame your family and yourself, a great way to be outcast from society, branded as a pariah.
