Markisch

Markisch is a prominent language spoken in the Margraviate of Holzmark. It is the most spoken primary language in the nation, although when counting secondary languages High Vexan still surpasses it in the nation. It is mostly spoken by the largely urbanized northerners, with Gwezteodoù being mostly spoken in the rural south. The language is related to the other Vexan languages, although it has maintained more of it's Melisternian parent language then many of its sister languages, with Markisch retaining much of the old grammar and even much of the vocabulary to the present day.
