Mortal Races

Mortal races form the living societies of Weglindth. They build cities, wage wars, form kingdoms, and pass history forward through bloodlines, culture, and memory. Their lives are shaped by time, inheritance, and change, and their populations rise and fall with the fortunes of the world.

These races are bound by mortality, whether their lifespans are brief or long. They are born, they age, and they die. Through adaptation, migration, and conflict, they have come to inhabit nearly every region of Weglindth, leaving lasting marks upon the land and its history.

Most laws, borders, and institutions are built by and for mortal races. To understand the present age of Weglindth is, in many ways, to understand them.
