towering height reaching up to 150-200 meters, hairy, tusks, humanoid and elephant feet.

Biological Traits

They tower over every other race, reaching up to the size of smaller buildings. They are also covered in hair and have two tusks.

Genetics and Reproduction

Are in the same family as Elephants and are genetically closer to Mammoths. Due to a quirk in genetics, they have reached alarming heights and extended lifespans. As a side effect this gives them a longer reproduction cycle and lower libido.

Growth Rate & Stages

grows to ginormous heights over it's lifespan. Their life stages is comparable to Earth humans with 1 human year equating to several Mammoth years.

Ecology and Habitats

It is known that they lived in the Pilocene epoch(within in the Neogene Period of the Cenozoic Era) and can survive that environment though it is unknown if they prefer it. It is also known that this species has a resistance to the cold and has lived on thePlane of the Enlarged due to being a suitable habitat to sustain the species.

Dietary Needs and Habits

In spite of their docile and passive this species is omnivorous. Their diet included heavy amount of treetop leaves,fruits and other large animals. It has also been known that they can consume and prepare dinosaurs, whales, monsters and dragons. Due to that odd dietary habit it has been speculated that they kept various monster-like creatures from overtaking the planet.

They do not hibernate during the winter but have been known to shed their fur in warmer climate.

Largely tribal with evidence to a form of a fission-fusion society, though there have been evidence on the giant's home plane of prehistoric settlements akin Earth's stone age. It is believed that traveling was a social norm.

Similar to that of Earth Humans at the Stone Age. Notable difference is their more docile and passive nature and their lower libido due to their long lives. It is also believed that various mental disorders associated with libidos along with various aggressive disorders are less frequent amongst this species. It is assumed that like with most giants, they have the capacity to more knowledgeable, experienced or skilled. Note that this a natural occurrence to most long lived species.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Normal senses akin to a human with the capacity to learn magic and develop power. The exception to this is their sense of time. Like with most Giants, Mammoth Men perceive the rest of the world go fast due to their longer lives. It has also been known that they perceive their lives similar to humans.

It has been noted that a large species of lice and various other insects attach themselves on them.

Both genders have been seen to hold equal productivity in their society. Roles don't seem to be restricted by gender.
LGBTQA+ relations have been demonstrated within communities with a third gender being present. It is currently believed to encompass trans and non binary concepts; it is still being studied. Anthropologists regularly advise not to tack on modern concepts to them.

Amongst surviving members and archaeological records, it seems that they prefer to have a partner and children. They also seem to be comfortable with adopting orphans, homosexual relationships and a third party to help produce the children.

Achieved stone age era technology. They have the capacity to prepare dinosaurs and large monsters with the equivalent of stone age materials. At a magical level, they developed a portal between Earth and Plane of the Enlarged .

Major Language Groups and Dialects

Prehistoric Giant. Their language tends to use roars, grunts, growls and other such noises while using volume, tone, pitch and body language to form the equivalent of words. To the human and giant ear these noises are absolutely meaningless but to a Mammoth Man it's a meaningful nuanced language.
On a sidenote it is believed that the Giant's languages, which is akin to many of Earth's languages of structure, came later when the tusks were dropped out of the physiology.

Accepting wandering members of the species while in turn a joining member must not abuse the tribe's kindness.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

Because of their similarities to elephants, groups tend to fluctuate with members either living along or moving to another tribe. It has been observed that they share the lack of stigmatization of loners and wanderers with other Giants.

It has been observed that tribes tend to accept foreigners into their tribe in a mellow sort of manor with the only conflict coming from this being a resource one. Members seem to enjoy painting, storytelling and cleaning their fur.

Belonging to the Elephantidae family and genetically related to Mammoths, this species are considered the cavemen to the Giants of this universe and have existed for at least over 5 million years.
Like with Earth Humans, there are archaeological records showcasing the evolution towards this species and the gap between them and giants. From fossil records to long forgotten civilizations this species have a clear transition from tribal to early civilization though the specifics still debated by scholars. There is even debate if this transition involved one species, two or just mutation that are to subtle to count as a different species.
In modern times (circa 20th-21st century), they reappeared and are now preserved. The first known reappearance was an attack on Glacia that caused by Vultor The Villainous's hypnotism. They survived due to a previous contact and diplomatic attempt from the Glacians that further aided the tribe's survival in the cold. Another reappearance involved a timewarp that transplanted a tribe to 1962. A third tribe was discovered in 1965 by Nelvana of The Northern Lights when she squared of a villain who preserved species in a zoo. Ever since then all three tribes were brought over to the Plane of the Enlarged for study and preservation under the Giants

Common Myths and Legends

Several prehistoric (relative to giant history) deities. It is known that they worshiped a god/hero based on fire, hunting and cooking along with fighting monsters being a recurring element in their art. Through archaeological records they have had gods of mythical figures for various natural elements and various aspects of civilization.

Unknown which species they can breed with. They don't seem be aggressive with any other sapient species. There have been diplomatic attempts from Glacians with a local tribe

They have fur all over their body with the coloration of the fur having the same range as of that of the woolly mammoth. Their skin tends to have be more akin to mammoths and elephants then the humanoid skin colors found in Giants. The humanoid skin color is believed to be a later mutation.
