Mechanics & Inner Workings
Resembling a portable speaker both in and out. Dr.Electra somehow figured out how to weaponize the electromagnetic spectrum in portable form. The electromagnet along with its system are controlled in a way that caused a variety of ray blast blasts. The system has a computer connected to the system in order to switch between the devices functions, it also connects to the plate to allow for the blast. The headphones connect to the system in order to "hear" the blast and blast type; it also protects the eyes from any noise the blast makes. There is a small mechanism that allows the headphones to be tiny speakers. The red light on top connects to the computer and indicated that it's on.
The function of the contraption allows it to manipulate electricity, manipulate objects through magnetism and exert a deadly electromagnetic blasts.
Manufacturing process
You prepare the custom made box to have a hole for the focus plate, an opening for the headphones, dial.and the red light. You then place the plate, red light, switches and headphones. You then connect the electromagnet system to the plate, red light, switches and headphones. you then seal the back panel up tight.

Considered rare and an antique. It has been discovered Dr.Electra was the only person to make the computing component and the people commissioned to make the other parts assumed they were making junk. There were plans for five models of the ray, three of the models were made, the first two had 2 back ups while the third model known to exist.

Raw materials & Components
cheap headphone, a custom made camera box, a red light on top, wires,a dial, a plate to focus the ray and 2 small electromagnets along with the appropriately sized system for the magnets. There is also a portable computer to modify the electromagnet.
Tools
Every component can be crafted as they normally would anywhere else. The computing components was personally built.
