Watchpoint Taurus

Watchpoint Taurus is the central military base of the Watch both on the planet Taurus and in the Novar System as a whole. It serves as a training ground for Watchmen and is the administrative and intelligence hub for the Lookouts, the leaders of the six Watch classes.
The layout of Watchpoint Taurus is a large tower surrounded by six major buildings (each one dedicated to a certain class) and several smaller buildings and spaces. The tower is where Watchmen go to receive missions, where the bounty and ordinance officers are, and where the main hangar is located.

There are six residence halls. After going through a security gate, each residence hall has a large courtyard with a statue of the founding member of that class.

The Champion and Warden residence halls are north of the tower and the closest to the Armory. In fact, the Champion hall is often referred to as the Armory as there is an access hallway between the two buildings from the courtyard. The Warden hall is referred to as the War-Den (a name they surprisingly gave themselves.) Although live ammunition and weaponry is not allowed in the residence halls, the Champion's access and proximity to the Armory (and the Infirmary) allows them to have a shooting range on one side of their courtyard. The statue in the Warden residence hall of founding member Viktor Borad is notorious for missing a belt buckle. The original buckle was stolen years ago, and every time it is replaced it soon disappears.

South of the tower are the Phantom and Ranger residence halls. The Ranger Hall has burnt down on three separate occasions. The back wall of their courtyard is a memorial made up of niches -- when a Ranger dies, his/her friends gather up one or two of their belongings deemed to be most symbolic and place it in their niche along with their Watch ID and any medals earned. The Phantom Hall, often called the Citadel for reasons lost to time, has a legendary rivalry with the Ranger Hall. Using nonlethal weapons, they'll often stage raids of each other to steal Guntham's Crown -- an ornate but bizarrely shaped helmet spray painted gold. No one knows who Guntham is.
