Born and Raised in the slums of Blochland, Ted used his intelligence in order to go to the Miskatonic University in order to learn the powers of wizardry as well as to learn the skills necessary to become an accountant, which had been his dream since he first heard about the job. Graduating from Miskatonic University with degrees in Magical Theory, Accounting, and Law at the age of 17, Ted felt he was ready to take on the world. He quickly was hired by a small chain of businesses that were less than legal, though Ted didn't realize at the time (he's really quite naive). Upon walking in on some less than acceptable activities, Ted was put thorough grueling torture and was eventually rescued by the Lovecraftian Order and sent to Arkham Asylum, where he was put into the care of the Order's leader, Doctor Carter West.
