The mother-race of the Elvar, Eolas, and Esalin
The Elven are a race brought into Vyngaard by the The Tidal Empire to serve as slaves and fighters against the uprising that led to the Shattering of Bonds and World.
Civilization and Culture
History
It is unknown which realm the Elven were brought into Vyngaard from, but it is thought to have been a grand and bright world. The Elven were tall and strong and incredibly fast, and are suspected to have been hunters before being brought into slavery.
They were turned to the side of the Glory Pantheon after Icteus brought them under her control. After her disappearence, they were left in an unknown world. Unwelcome by the races that they had been brought in to fight against, the Elven split and scattered to the corners of the world, turning into the Elvar in the dark fae forests, the Eolas on the waters, and the Esalin in the unwelcoming deserts.
Much debate surrounds the classification of Elvar, Eolas, and Esalin as different species and not simply different ethnicities, but the differences in lifespan, physique, and abilities lends to the belief that since their scattering long ago, they have become different subspecies all-together.
