Goddess of Fire, Beauty, and Art
(a.k.a. The Lightmaiden)
Lumitar is the fiery goddess of beauty, love, and patroness of the arts. She is not jealous or vain, and freely rewards any creature who brings beauty into the world regardless of whether they worship her or not. However, the Lightmaiden can be moved to heated anger by any who deny love or who delight in destroying things of beauty. She is the lover of Libreni who shares her adoration for free expression. She is the mother of the Divine Twins: Fortunas and Nochani. Although Mortas dislikes her, Lumitar appreciates the vain goddess of magic for her obvious beauty.
Lumitar is often depicted as the most beautiful woman the artist can imagine, and therefore is whatever race the artist chooses. She is usually shown with fiery red hair, for she is also the goddess of fire, but due to the goddess' mercurial form, her depictions can be vastly varied. She is very tall and always dressed in very fine attire. Many depict her with a harp under her arm or in her lap, as she plays and sings for the delight of others.
