Syreithel
Demographics
The population of Syreithel is almost exclusively Nulda’nothrim. A small number of Elves from outside the Rostaure Jungle have made Syreithel their home. To this date, there has never been a permanent inhabitant not of Elven bloodline.
Government
Syreithel has a matriarchal society led by an individual known as the 'Tarisse'. The Tarisse is selected by the council of Elders and Rules for life once elected.
The Females of Syreithel are the dominant sex in both Political and social life. it is not uncommon for a Female to take multiple Husbands, with a preference for physical prowess when looking for a new mate.
Defences
Syreithels greatest defence is its remote location deep within the Rostaure Jungle. However, its populace are fierce and proficient fighters. Experts in Poisons and stealth, they will defend Syreithel to the death if needed. Foremost of these fighters are the legendary Storm Maidens famed for bonding with the jungles fiercest creatures and taking them as mounts.
Infrastructure
The City of Syreithel exists in an almost symbiotic state with the surrounding Jungle. some even say the City grew from the jungle itself and was not made by the hands of humanoids. The majority of the City is spread through the canopy of the Rostaure Jungle with buildings hidden within the branches of the trees themselves or atop gigantic mushrooms that grow from the trunks of the largest trees. Rope bridges, swings and lifts connect the many levels and clusters of buildings.
Architecture
The design of the many dwellings and communal buildings within Syreithel is strongly influenced by nature. Curved flowing lines replace the sharp angular buildings found in the more conventional Cities across Vulara. Many inhabitants decorate their homes with living decorations such as Vines, flowers, mosses and lichen.
