Soshi Shijima is an up and coming courtier of the Scorpion family. Grandson of the esteemed Soshi Adorai, he spends his days in the courts of the Kanjo District. Charming yet insufferable, Shijima is the troublesome sort who gets along best with people he doesn't get along with at all.

Some mix of skull and scorpion skeleton covers Shijima's mouth and chin, though it opens at the mouth to allow him to eat and drink without removing the mask. The rest of his apparel is very expensive, all tailored in the latest fashions popular within the capital.

Soshi Shijima has a very varied education. His training began at a relatively minor Bayushi courtier school, but following his time at Winter Court where he made a strong impression on a number of famous actors and playwrights and briefly received instruction in kyudo from a Kaito magistrate, he transferred to the Shosuro Actor school for a time, where he graduated with flying colors.
Employment
Shijima enjoys a posting in the Kanjo District of Otosan Uchi. He is one voice among many advocating for Scorpion interests in the district, but his heritage and reputation both suggest he will rise in influence over the years.
