The Dasylirion Breakout (2886 AK)

In 2886 AK, the prisoners trapped in the desert oasis of Dasylirion escaped. Normally unable to pass through the desert alive, the mass escape created larger groups of prisoners that made survival possible for some. When these criminal mages reached the lands to the east of the Kxa, they destroyed entire settlements and toppled many local rulers. Eventually, all of these criminals were either killed or absorbed into the local aristocracy and life returned to normal for a time. However, many scholars of history believe that it is this event that made the Southeastern Laivran kingdoms weak enough that most of them fell to a relatively small Dragonborn army a century later.
