Siligond

Summary

Siligond is an Elvish diarchy in Central Rhovra. The kingdom is ruled by the Risparth and the Arataur, known as the Grassland Queen and the Woodland King in Common. The two monarchs are married and rule until one dies or their firstborn child reaches 30 years of age. This split reflects the cultural differences between Siligond's two regions. The forest is populated almost exclusively by Wood Elves and Gnomes who value harmony and are expert herbalists and Rangers. The grasslands are ruled by High Elves who oversee Human and Halfling peasants. The High Elves are more concerned with war, and are currently fighting over the territory of Xepesme with Sakilos. Regardless of where they live, family is of paramount importance to Siligond. Copying the style, habits, and philosophy of the current royal family is seen as a virtue in Siligondian society.

Towns & Cities

  • Fana: The seat of the Risparth. It was built near temple ruins said to predate The Cataclysm. Studies of the site have turned up technological and magical wonders of great value.
  • Guinas: The seat of the Arataur. Tucked into a tree-covered inlet, the city is known for hosting great artists and scholars from across Vrashyn.
  • Ukami: The spiritual center of Siligond and the country's largest city. It is located on Lake Okike, which Okikerin myth holds is the place where the world was created.
