Phoenix War

Summary

The Phoenix War is an ongoing military conflict between Ramanthas and Cirithas. The war began in late Hausos 3173 when Cirithasi knights were caught sneaking across the Ramanthi border after a phoenix destroyed one of their army camps. This became known to chroniclers as the Phoenix Incident. The involvement of the government of Ramanthas is hotly disputed by both sides, though all informed observers agree that a cult known as the Burning Path was responsible for summoning the creature.
