History & Usage
History
Lerite was first discovered in the great mountain of Nylicert. Many leromir were baffled that their abilities intermittently stopped working on the mountain. A village on the mountain was right over one of these spots. The blacksmith of that village discovered that Lerite was the cause, and just before 3 nations went to war over the discovery and destroyed the village, his son escaped with a piece of the ground breaking material.
Soon, Lerite caused the great upheavel of Leromir supremacy, some countries killed off their leromir rulers entirely, others did not, some places just stayed the same. The first to go was Kalgitia, a great country ruled with an iron fist by leromirs, turned upside down by a simple red gem.
As time went on, people used the mineral for other purposes, from soul binding to the first prototype lera amplification pack. Lerite also looks good, with the added benefit of defence against leromirs. So many loksi's spent their new found wealth on armour or jewelry that used it.
Discovery
An old blacksmith that lived in a mountain village experimented with it, creating world famous swords for the Mregian kingdom and testing the extent of it's powers.
Everyday use
Jewelry, armour, actuators, Myotran bodies, weapons, dietary supplements, Lera amplifiers, and more.
Industrial Use
Because of what it can do, it is used in factories the world over, as well as built into castle walls.
Refinement
Usually it is cut into the required shape by a jeweler.
Manufacturing & Products
Swords and armour, strong steel tools, robot frames.
Hazards
Ingesting too much Lerios or Lerite can be toxic, but generally it is safe to handle.
Environmental Impact
It's not exactly environmental, but many Leromirs complain that it is used too much, though their concerns have become the minority in the modern age and onward.
Reusability & Recycling
It can be recycled.
Distribution
Storage
Just simple crates will do.
Law & Regulation
Some countries ban the use of it entirely, others use it for the great many things it can be used for. There is a middle ground in some countries.
