Aleis

One of the thirteen Aviri, goddess of beauty. She who improved every aspect of the world before being led astray and becoming one of its chief abusers, taking the name Morphima. Before her fall she was given newly created ('from nothing') daughters to help her original quest--yet she fell before she actually met any of them. Some of these daughters followed her perverse example, while some held strong to her original quest. These became the means of her eventual redemption and restoration to the office of the goddess of beauty.
Her faithful Shali are known always as Daughters of Aleis, while the unfaithful, who followed her into perversion, but not necessarily back out of it, are known as Daughters of Morphima--until they repent.
